About the SHAMELESS Foundation

Our Mission

The SHAMELESS Foundation exists to create safe, intentional spaces where gay men can reconnect with themselves and each other through emotional honesty, embodiment, and authentic human connection.

Through facilitated integration circles, embodiment practices, and community-based programs, we support gay men in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a sense of belonging. Our work helps participants release internalized shame, strengthen their relationship with their bodies, and build meaningful connections grounded in authenticity and presence.

We are committed to fostering environments where gay men can explore their full humanity — emotional, physical, and relational — without performance, judgment, or expectation.

Why This Work Matters

Many gay men grow up learning to hide parts of themselves in order to feel safe, accepted, or loved. Even in adulthood, this can lead to patterns of emotional disconnection, isolation, and shame.

While LGBTQ spaces have created important progress in visibility and acceptance, there remains a critical need for environments that support deeper emotional integration and authentic connection. Many existing spaces center social interaction or sexuality without providing structured opportunities for emotional honesty, embodiment, and internal healing.

The SHAMELESS Foundation was created to address this gap.

Our programs provide structured, facilitated experiences that allow participants to reconnect with their emotional lives, their physical presence, and their capacity for genuine connection with others. These spaces support preventative mental health, reduce isolation, and strengthen individual and community well-being.

What We Do

The SHAMELESS Foundation facilitates Integration Circles and embodied community experiences designed to support emotional and relational well-being.

Our programs incorporate evidence-informed practices such as guided group sharing, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and embodiment exercises. These practices help participants develop emotional awareness, self-acceptance, and a stronger sense of connection to themselves and others.

Our core offerings include:

Integration Circles
Facilitated group gatherings where participants engage in guided conversation, reflection, and connection in a structured, confidential environment.

Embodiment and Movement Experiences
Programs that support participants in reconnecting with their bodies through mindful movement, breathwork, and nervous system awareness.

Community Chapter Development
The establishment of SHAMELESS chapters in cities around the world, creating accessible spaces for integration, connection, and emotional well-being within local communities.

Our Vision

We envision a world where gay men live fully integrated lives — free from shame, emotionally connected to themselves, and supported by authentic community.

The SHAMELESS Foundation is building a global network of local chapters that provide consistent, accessible spaces for emotional integration and embodied connection. Through this work, we aim to improve mental health outcomes, reduce social isolation, and foster stronger, more resilient LGBTQ communities.

Our long-term goal is to create sustainable community infrastructure that supports the emotional well-being and personal growth of gay men across diverse geographic and cultural environments.

Our Beginning

The SHAMELESS Foundation was created in response to a growing recognition that many gay men lack access to spaces that support emotional honesty, embodiment, and authentic connection.

What began as small, facilitated circles has grown into a broader initiative to create structured environments where gay men can reconnect with themselves and each other in meaningful, lasting ways.

The Foundation is launching its founding chapters in Honolulu, Hawai‘i and Seattle, Washington, with plans to expand to additional cities through a structured chapter and facilitator development model.

Our Commitment

We are committed to creating spaces that are:

Confidential
Consent-based
Inclusive
Emotionally safe
Facilitated with care and integrity

Our work is grounded in the belief that every person deserves access to environments where they can be fully seen, fully accepted, and fully human.
