About the SHAMELESS Foundation

Building a World Beyond Shame

The SHAMELESS Foundation exists to help create a world where people no longer feel compelled to hide who they are.

We believe that shame is one of the most powerful forces shaping human behavior. It influences how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, how we experience our bodies, and how much of ourselves we allow the world to see.

For many LGBTQ+ people, shame begins early. We learn to question our worth, hide parts of ourselves, and prioritize acceptance over authenticity.

The SHAMELESS Foundation was created to help change that.

Through community programming, educational initiatives, scholarships, mindfulness experiences, and future advocacy and research efforts, we work to create opportunities for people to experience connection, belonging, healing, and personal liberation.

Our mission is simple:

To help people release shame and live more authentic, connected, and empowered lives.

Why This Work Matters

One of the biggest lies shame tells us is that we're alone.

It convinces us that nobody else understands our experiences, struggles, fears, or insecurities.

Over time, that isolation can affect our relationships, confidence, emotional well-being, and sense of belonging.

While tremendous progress has been made for LGBTQ+ visibility and acceptance, many people continue to struggle with internalized shame, loneliness, body image concerns, self-judgment, and disconnection.

We believe that healing happens faster in community.

When people are given opportunities to be seen, heard, accepted, and supported without judgment, transformation becomes possible.

The SHAMELESS Foundation exists to create those opportunities.

Not through fixing people.

Not through changing who they are.

But by helping people discover that they were never broken to begin with.

What We Do

The SHAMELESS Foundation supports programs that help individuals build deeper relationships with themselves and others through community, mindfulness, education, and authentic connection.

Our work focuses on creating accessible opportunities for personal growth, emotional well-being, and belonging.

Current and future initiatives include:

Community Support Groups

Free weekly support groups where participants can engage in honest conversations about relationships, self-worth, identity, body image, personal growth, and the challenges of everyday life.

These gatherings help reduce isolation and remind participants that they do not have to navigate life's challenges alone.

Guided Meditation Programs

Supporting both online and in-person meditation experiences that help participants cultivate mindfulness, self-awareness, body acceptance, and emotional resilience.

Programs currently include:

  • Weekly online naked guided meditation sessions

  • Monthly Seattle naked guided meditation gatherings

  • Weekly Los Angeles community meditation gatherings

  • Future meditation and mindfulness initiatives

The SHAMELESS Community

Supporting online spaces where individuals can connect, share experiences, ask questions, celebrate victories, and receive encouragement from others on similar journeys.

Healing doesn't happen only during events.

Community provides ongoing support between those moments.

Retreat Scholarships

Helping ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent individuals from participating in transformational retreat experiences.

Scholarship funding allows more people to access opportunities for growth, healing, connection, and personal development.

Education, Advocacy, and Research

As the Foundation grows, we plan to expand our impact through educational programming, community advocacy, scholarship initiatives, and research exploring shame, authenticity, connection, and LGBTQ+ well-being.

Our Mission

To dismantle shame and expand human freedom through community, education, mindfulness, accessibility, and authentic connection.

Our Vision

A world where people no longer feel like they have to hide who they are.

A world where authenticity is safer than performance.

A world where connection replaces isolation, self-acceptance replaces shame, and every person has access to the support, community, and resources needed to live fully as themselves.

Our Commitment

Everything we do is guided by a commitment to creating spaces that are:

Consent-Based

Participation is always voluntary. Individual autonomy, personal boundaries, and informed consent are foundational to every SHAMELESS program.

Inclusive

We are committed to fostering welcoming environments where people are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Community-Centered

We believe healing and growth happen most powerfully when people feel supported by authentic community.

Accessible

We strive to reduce barriers to participation through free programming, scholarships, and community-supported initiatives.

Rooted in Integrity

We are committed to facilitating experiences with care, professionalism, transparency, and respect for every participant.
